Review of research & planning blog activity tasks

Hello Group 18

Congratulations to Amy and Catherine, you are both up to date with your blogs (with the exception of some 'whole group' tasks where work is missing from everyone in the group) and have produced some very good work. Estefania, you have also produced a mostly up to date blog.  Chloe, you still need to inlude a number of blog posts relating to both research and planning activities and Alima, you have only included posts for planning tasks - there is no research at all so there's a lot to catch up on.

Please see the table below to identify what needs to be done, both as a group and indiviudally.


GROUP 18
General comments
·         As a group, the blog is mixed – Amy and Catherine have produced detailed blogs with good analysis, Estefania is mostly up to date and Chloe & Alima are behind.
·         A lot of work has been put into the pitch and the planning of the production but the blog doesn’t reflect this for all of you, which is a pity.
Whole group needs to include the following:
·         Letter from record label / artist confirming copyright clearance
·         Test shots of lighting / mise en scene
Alima

There are no research activity blogs - only planning.
·         Music video analysis relating to 4 key concepts
·         Summary of Goodwin’s theory
·         Examples of videos that have illustration, amplification, disjuncture narrative
·         Propp – overview of theory & application to pop video
·         Review of previous student video
·         Final song choice with link to video & explanation or use
Amy
·         Up to date (except for ‘whole group’ tasks that need completing)
Chloe
·         Examples of videos that have illustration, amplification, disjuncture narrative
·         Propp – overview of theory & application to pop video
·         Reflection on lip synch tutorial with images and embedded final video
·         Final song choice with link to video & explanation for use
Catherine
·         Up to date (except for ‘whole group’ tasks that need completing)
Estefania
·         Review of previous student’s video
