Letter from recording label confirming copyright clearance

After sending a letter to Alexandria (Sandi) Thom / RCA Corporation requesting permission to use the song Sandi Thom - I wish i was a punk rocker, we recieved no reply from the artist or recording label either allowing us to use the song or not. Therefore our group does not have a Letter from the recording label to confirm the copyright clearance.
